My sister and her best friend from childhood came to visit for one day (her birthday!). The visit wasn't long enough, but it was wonderful to see them, resting, sans kids for once (they both have 2 little ones). We took them to brunch on the wharf with Travis and Colleen, went to the aquarium, and watched the sunset by Bixby bridge in Big Sur. Caroline got teary-eyed because of the beauty. Both of them were overwhelmed with the amount of wildlife and wanted to bring their families here for a visit. We look forward to it!
