WWF has a living roof garden. I went up to see it, but found this message on the locked door:
However, if you're the honorable Karmapa (2nd to the Dalai Lama, who was also visiting DC), and you come to WWF, you get a special tour of the roof-top-garden:
And if you work at WWF, you get to enjoy hearing the Karmapa speak, thanking you and blessing you for the important environmental work you're doing. So it evens out.
He gave WWF this beautiful thangka.
Old man on the left is the guy that founded WWF, 50 years ago.
