As I've mentioned before, DC has a great dance scene. I was so pleased to be included in the July version of DC Tribal Cafe, at their new location, Bossa. My mom and Daniel were in town, and I'd been practicing a bunch again (nice to brush up my dancing chops!), so it was fun to perform with them there.

Kaelan, my best friend from high school was there, and so was Marjorie, a woman I went to Tanzania with ten years ago. DC is a small world, that way. The crowd was really supportive, and I had a great time. So, so fun. Na'la danced, then me:
Mavi finished the evening, but then Na'la and I snuck up on Mavi to spring this silly collaborative piece at the end.
