Flowers of DC

Summertime in the south. I love how very verdant the south becomes in the humid summers. Here are some flowers in and around my neighborhood. I'd walk by on my way to work or the gym, enjoying their textures, ferocity and sunniness.

Rosedale Conservancy just a few blocks from my house. I enjoyed a couple picnics here.

Crepe Myrtle. Somehow had never learned this flower/bush's name before.
