Center for the Blue Economy Internship
So, what am I doing in DC, anyway, you ask? I was one of seven lucky students in my International Environmental Policy program chosen to receive funding for otherwise unpaid internships. This way, I can afford to work on a project dear to my heart, the NGOs are ensured an excellent intern (Dr. Scorse hand-selected some top students for their willing participation), and the Center for the Blue Economy (CBE) gets to show off some of the awesome things we students are doing, to help entice prospective students and donors to participate in future years. Win-win-win.
