Ben and I went to a Philip Glass concert in Carmel Valley, something he was excited to do all summer. It was intense! There were only 7 members in the orchestra, and the venue was small, so the music enveloped you completely. I felt like you could not have much more sound simultaneously without devolving into complete chaos. It somehow maintained order, though. Genius. The people next to us had obviously never really listened to Philip Glass, they didn't clap once, and looked perturbed the whole time. Hee hee!
This is not from the particular show we went to, but was probably the most intense song.
