One day, Mom, Ben, Daniel and I went for a bike ride on the new Legacy Trail. We began our ride at Mom's house, a few miles from the beginning of the trail (where we saw old climbing buddy, Matt Weddington).
Getting over being sick, Ben rode about 5 miles and then turned back. He missed the most beautiful part of the trail, but we were glad to have him for the first part. Gorgeous day. 
The trail ends at the Kentucky Horse Park, which we ventured into. 
All told, we rode 31 miles. I was fine until the 21 mile mark at which point, riding the heavy mountain bike I was using (compared with the light road bikes Mom and Daniel rode) became work. Those last 10 miles were uncomfortable, even switching off bikes with Mom. But we did it! 
And just we returned just before a thunderstorm blew in.
